Americans announcing the traitors capture

Day 1 of capture

"This man, is the one who escaped from our prison at york. he is a British soldier that killed many of our brave men, and for that he will be hanged!"
as he said that the audience roared with approval, I could do nothing but watch.But u was lucky, the sounds of gunfire could be heard out of Oswego. the British had come, and imediately all of the American soldiers had rushed outside to fight them. I knew I could easily escape, but I just sat there, while the crowd ran into their homes.
Day 2 of capture

The British had won, and we were drinking some ale around the campfire. All though I showed happiness, I was grieving inside. although I knew that Maria was fine, I don't know what to my daughter. I am going to sleep and wait for what the new day has to offer me.
